PHOENIX -- Immigrants Without Borders will begin a week-long fast Monday to call attention to what it calls the national crisis of illegal immigration.

The nonprofit immigrants' rights organization said it wants people of all faith to come together in a push for comprehensive immigration reform by the U.S. Congress.

The fast will begin at noon in front of El Portal Restaurant at First and Grant avenues and will last until noon on Feb. 5.
